I let Raja and Shadow in bed with me keeping a close eye on them.
 Raja smelled Shadow and was told "NO". she then went to the foot of my bed to sleep.
Shadow placed her face towards Raja  touching their noises. both were good dogs as I read my lib. book " Mudbound".
